Omar Sharkeyeh

Head of Infrastructure & DevOps at hessnatur

I lead infrastructure and DevOps at hessnatur. Before that I spent almost five years at Calida Group Digital, first as a senior full-stack developer and then as head of platform infrastructure, and two years on the software behind Marc O’Polo.

I started building websites in 2004 and still build a few for clients. That keeps me close to the code that ends up running on the platforms I look after.

Nun Pirat

nunpirat.com · 2024–2026

Case study

An app that teaches children and families to read and write Arabic. I build the app and the platform under it: Kubernetes clusters defined in Terraform, CI/CD templates shared by every repository, and monitoring with metrics, logs, traces and profiles in one place.

How the platform is built

Kubernetes · Terraform · GitLab CI · OpenTelemetry · Laravel · React

Agentur Vera

agentur-vera.at · 2026

A new brand for a partner agency for people over 60 in Austria: logo, site and copy. Text contrast meets WCAG AAA for older readers. The personal ads arrive through a small API fed by the agency’s own matching software.

Ghost 6 · Tailwind 4 · Node.js API · Laravel

Prespecta

prespecta.eu · 2026

An independent, VDI-certified surveyor of hazardous building materials in Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg. 22 city pages, created and kept in sync by a script, and a coverage map generated as static SVG instead of an embedded map service.

Ghost 6 · Tailwind 4 · Vite · Admin API scripts

NA-Unternehmen

na-unternehmen.at · 2026

Demolition and asbestos removal across Austria, in German and English, with location pages for 13 Austrian cities.

Ghost 6 · Tailwind 4 · German / English

Gutwin Hausbetreuung

gutwin.omarsharkeyeh.me · 2026

Building maintenance and cleaning around Salzburg. Service pages, twelve local pages for the towns they cover, and a contact form protected by Turnstile.

Ghost 6 · Tailwind 4 · Cloudflare Turnstile

Fahrschule Hirnböck

neu.fahrschule-hirnboeck.de · 2026

A driving school in the Berchtesgadener Land since 1939, with two branches. Licence classes, the training fleet, class times for both branches and online registration.

Ghost 6 · Tailwind 4 · Vite

Earlier projects
